Several scenes from the original Beetlejuice movie were cut, however some of them have resurfaced in the film's workprint. Some of which include Barbara and Adam hanging from the attic window as a sandworm chomps at them, Adam walking into a vast darkness filled with moving cogs and gears rather than walking onto Saturn, and Lydia developing photos she took. You can watch the workprint here:

In 1999, as well as in 2002, Disney Channel actively aired the movie, albeit censored. Supposedly, this version contains a scene that replaces Beetlejuice saying "Nice fuckin' model!" and honking his crotch, with a scene of him spitting on the ground and staring at Adam and Barbara. A broadcast of this version is yet to be found.

On a run of the second wave of Beetlejuice Kenner toys in 1989-1990, a new line of Beetlejuice toys were advertised on the back of existing figures. These toys included "Squisher Bugs", "Squisher Worms", and "Squisher Finger and Wart". Though these toys were advertised, they never came to fruition.

Kenner was planning on releasing a third wave of Beetlejuice figures, though they were never fully released. Prototypes, however, have been seen online. Surfaced prototypes include:

Pinhead Bowler (a.k.a. Bowl'N Roll)

Archaeologist Beetlejuice (a.k.a. Dig'N Spin)

Doctor Beetlejuice

Cowboy Beetlejuice

kinda glad this one was never released

Bully the Kid

More planned toys from this line include:

Napoleon Blown-A-Part

Splitting Headache Beetlejuice

The Black Knight

Rotten Roadster Vehicle

Shark Attack Vehicle
